Bishop Da'Quan A. Baldwin accepted his call into the Gospel ministry and began his journey as a young theologian scholar at The Bread of Life Bible Institute under the tutelage and teaching of the founders, Dr. Jay and Magdalene Leach. There, Baldwin exercised his ability to study and rightly divide biblical text and has received numerous certificates for completing course requirements. It was at the tender age of sixteen that Baldwin stepped into his calling of ministry and preached his initial sermon on August 23, 2009. Nearly a year later, he was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel under the leadership of his former pastor, Barbara P. Powell, founder of The House of Prayer and Deliverance Church, Inc. of Whiteville, NC. After several years of dedicated service, Baldwin transitioned to the fellowship's headquarters location, Evangelical House of God Ministries, Inc. to immerse himself among the school of prophets. On September 28, 2013, Baldwin was ordained an Elder by the honorable Apostle Juanita G. Troy, Pastor and Founder of Evangelical House of God Ministries of Spring Lake, NC. For nearly eight years, he served as an Associate Elder and District Elder to the organization’s sister churches. During this time, Baldwin found his passion in assisting the reformation by teaching aspiring ministers and seasoned ministers in the art and science of Homiletics and Hermeneutics. On April 14th, 2021, Baldwin was dually consecrated and ordained a Bishop in the Lord’s Church.

Although the Baldwin stays productively busy with ministry and communion with God, he has made his impact in the state of North Carolina through his careers in both the federal and state government. Bishop Baldwin is a proud graduate of the illustrious Fayetteville State University and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management. He has also earned a Masters of Divinity degree from North Carolina Theological Seminary where he is currently a doctoral student.

Bishop Baldwin is the newly celebrated Founder and Site President of the North Carolina Theological Seminary–Raleigh Site. As a new extension of the North Carolina Theological Seminary family, NCTS-Raleigh Site serves the purpose of offering innovative, spiritual education to awaiting students in the Raleigh area. Due to our recent pandemic affliction, it is vital that spiritual leaders and institutions remain adaptable to continue kingdom work and to fulfill the Great Commission. As a millennial leader, Bishop Baldwin is filled with anticipation to bring virtual class sessions to students' homes and expand his net to include all those who wish to receive the structured training that seminary has to offer, regardless of their location. Bishop Baldwin envisions an atmosphere of spiritual learning where the truth and demonstration of God's Word can be taught and discussed in a structured, Spirit-filled manner.
